MacMasters is rated one of the top one hundred surf beaches in Australia. The MacMasters Beach Surf Life Saving Club provides top quality surf patrol over the summer holidays and on weekends during the winter months. So you and your children can swim safely in between the flags. Or for the little ones, the tidal swimming pool adjacent to the Surf Life Saving Club is always a big hit.

… From our back garden down to the Southern end of MacMasters Beach and head North along the golden sands all the way to Copacabana Beach . Or take the bush path from our back lawn to the spectacular headland walk or nearby Little Beach. Surrounding Bouddi National Park offers some wonderful bushwalking opportunities to secluded beaches such as Maitland Bay .
Head on down to the beach or one of the nearby Hardy's Bay wharves to wet a line. Fresh bait is available from the Hardy's Bay Bottle Shop or from Nina's shop on the Scenic Road at MacMasters. For information about fishing permits see our links page.
Either cook at home in our well equipped kitchen or bbq on the outside deck. For a night out there are plenty of local restaurants offering a wide range of places to eat out. From excellent Fish & Chips at Hardys Bay or weekend BBQs at the Surf Club right up to fine dining at restaurants at Hardy's Bay or nearby Terrigal . A folder in the hosuse gives you names, addresses and contact numbers of all the best local restaurants.
